  1. Remove garbage disposal odors with lemon rinds or ice cubes.
Garbage disposals always end up smelling bad after a long period of time. Instead of spending a lot of time in removing the smell, use lemon rinds to remove the foul odor. If you can’t get your hands on lemons, use ice cubes made out of vinegar and they’ll be gone in no time.
  1. Remove paint doodles.
If your kids have been channeling their inner artists and doodling on your walls, you can simply wipe off the drawings by scrubbing them lightly with a damp sponge sprinkled in baking soda. This will save you time and money from getting a new paint job.
  1. Clean your ceiling fan without the dusty mess.
Look for an old pillowcase and cover a blade of your ceiling fan with it. Slowly draw out the pillow case and while doing so, the dust will stay inside the pillowcase making it possible to clean them without the dirt and mess everywhere.
  1. Get rid of soap residue with a dryer sheet.
Sprinkle a few drops of water on a dryer sheet and use it to remove soap residues on bathroom and make it look shiny and sparkling like it hasn’t been used before.
  1. Shine silver with toothpaste.
Spend less time and money in shining your silver accessories and house decors by simply wetting them and rubbing toothpaste. They’ll end up looking brand new in no time.
  1. Remove pet hair with a rubber glove.
Easily remove all the pet hairs that have taken over your home. Put on a damp rubber glove and go over the surfaces which are full of pet hair.
  1. Get rid of cutting board stains with lemons.
Get a fresh lemon and rub it on your cutting boards. The stains will magically disappear after you rinse them with cold water.
